Guillaume's Music Academy offers a variety of services, i.e. music lessons for children and adults; vocal lessons; band workshop, production; sound engineering for events; DJ services; instrument rentals and video editing. Our students receive one-on-one lessons that focus on the performance aspect of learning a musical instrument. All students have the opportunity to participate in a band workshop. The workshops give students the experience of playing with other musicians. As students progress, they can join an ensemble that performs at a host of venues throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Through music production, students are taught how to create their own music utilizing today's latest music technologies. GMA offers professionally produced showcase videos, which can be used as audition reels for college applications. The CEO of GMA is Haitian born Donald Guillaume who has been playing drums for most of his life. The son of a preacher, Don was raised in a very musical household with eight siblings who all played musical instruments. Don later went on to be the original drummer for the Grammy Award winning group­­­­–The Fugees, which lead him to play with many other artists such as Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, BB King, Earth Wind & Fire, and many other award winning artists. After moving from Brooklyn to New Jersey, Don decided to use his gift of teaching and opened up Guillaume's Music Academy.
