Through collaboration and partnerships, the SCBP seeks to insure Somerset County's present and future economic vitality.

  

 

Hiring? Apply for Up To $5,000 Employee Salary Support. 

 

If you are a high technology or manufacturing business hiring a new employee you may be eligible for up to $5,000 in employee salary support. On the Job Training (OJT) funds are available for a limited time through the Greater Raritan Workforce Investment Board.

Somerset County Municipalities Engage in Economic Development.

 

Four Somerset County municipalities have active economic development functions staffed by professionals. Bridgewater Township, Franklin Township, Hillsborough Township, and Somerville Borough staff are actively engaged in business advocacy, development

and redevelopment, marketing, and information and guidance to businesses.

 

Technology Venture Conference Coming to Somerset County.

 

On March 25, 2011 emerging companies will have an opportunity to showcase products and/or services at an event that will include venture capitalists, investors, and corporate business development staff. The NJTC Venture Conference, being held at The Palace at Somerset Park in Franklin Township, is an opportunity to meet with company representatives at their booths throughout the day-long event.
