Governor Christie has announced the implementation of a business impact assessment for small businesses affected by Superstorm Sandy. The survey will help inform the Administration and industry leaders about the most pressing needs of small businesses affected by Superstorm Sandy. The results will be used to formulate strategy and programs to assist small businesses to recover.

Key components of the survey cover loss information including cause, category and estimated value of loss; whether the firm has already applied for disaster assistance; and the overall impact of the storm on the business' operation. Even if your was limited to not being able to operate because of the power being out, or sales being off because of the impact of Sandy post-storm- be sure to report that.
